Is Starbound coming to ps5?
Regardless, the space trappings and ability to visit other planets in Starbound has helped it stand out enough to warrant a console release. However, it will only be arriving on the PS Vita and PS4.

Who is Redigit?
Andrew “Redigit” Spinks is the creator of Terraria and President of Re-Logic. Before Terraria, he was the lead developer of Super Mario Bros. X [seizure warning] (SMBX). In early development of the game, Redigit released a play-through of the game, which can be viewed on YouTube to this day.

We’ve got some exciting news! Starbound will be releasing December 8th on Xbox Games Pass for PC!! This version is PC only, and identical to other PC versions with the new additions of Xbox achievements, and the ability to invite and join friends through your Xbox Live network.

Should I play Starbound or Starbound unstable?
The unstable branch is buggy and get’s updated nightly, so you have to continuously download new versions just to play. It’s intended for people who want to see the latest content and help search for bugs and problems with the game. It’s not ideal for people who want to enjoy the game in a working state.
What is Starbound written in?
Starbound is written in C++ and uses a custom game engine. The soundtrack was composed by American composer Curtis Schweitzer.
What do I need to know about Starbound?
Starbound is an extraterrestrial sandbox adventure game! You’ve fled your home, only to find yourself lost in space with a damaged ship. Your only option is to beam down to the planet below and gather the resources you need to repair your ship and set off to explore the vast, infinite universe… No spoilers, only hints.
Why is Starbound not on console?
Our last update was that the console version was suffering from serious performance issues with 3-4 players together in some scenarios and we felt it couldn’t be released to the public in that state.
