Is point the same as pixel?
Point is a physical unit of length, used in typography. It’s equal to 1/12 Pica, and 1 Pica = 1/6 inch. So 1 pt = 1/72 inch. Therefore, on a 72 ppi display, 1 point = 1 pixel.
