How do I check the balance on my Subway card?
You may check the available balance on your Subway Gift Card in one of three ways:
- Visit any Subway store and ask a cashier to check the balance for you.
- Create an account and check your balance online at Subway.com.
- Call Subway at 1-877-697-8222.
Does the TTC still accept tokens 2022?
As of 2022, legacy fare media (cash, tokens and legacy discounted tickets) are still accepted for fare payment but the general public can no longer purchase tokens and legacy tickets from the TTC.

Can I return my TTC tokens?
You can still use previously purchased TTC tickets, tokens or passes you have to pay your fare. No end date has been set for when the TTC will stop accepting TTC tickets, tokens or cash. Refunds will not be provided so you are encouraged to use your TTC tickets, tokens and passes.

Do I need to tap my PRESTO card twice? When you tap on, the system deducts the default trip fare, so you don’t have to tap a second time when you get off at your default destination. This means even more time saved with PRESTO.
Can I use someone else’s PRESTO card? PRESTO cards can be shared, however, can only be used by one person at a time. Two people cannot travel at the same time using one PRESTO card as the Fare Payment Device will only deduct one fare per ride on GO Transit. When using someone else’s card, be aware of default or fare classification settings they may have.
Can I still use TTC tokens in 2022?
Yes. You can still pay your fare with TTC tickets, tokens or cash.
